What is ImuPro?
ImuPro is an innovative blood test that can detect delayed food allergies. In an extensive blood analysis, ImuPro identifies high levels of specific IgG antibodies to particular foods, that is a personal food immune profile (“ImuPro”).
ImuPro: application in case of chronic ailments
The decisive question is: What is the cause of chronic ailments and how are they triggered? It is only after an answer to this question has been found that the ailments can be controlled.
We know today that many chronic ailments (diarrhoea, winds, headache, migraine, painful joints etc.) may be triggered by inflammatory reactions. Therefore, it is important to identify the exact cause of these inflammations, since there are many possible triggers. In particular, if the standard procedures did not identify any cause, it becomes more likely that foods might cause these ailments. This can be analysed using ImuPro.
How do delayed food allergies cause chronic complaints?
Due to affections of the small intestine (e.g. due to stress, infections, drugs), other components of food than usual can reach the bloodstream. Certain parts of these foods are identified by the immune system as “antigens” and specific IgG antibodies are developed against them. Immune complexes are created from them which can settle in various tissues, organs and vascular systems. Immune complexes are disassembled through inflammatory reactions. When this happens again and again, a chronic process may be created. ImuPro detects specific IgG antibodies to foods in the blood.
The ImuPro tests
The “modular system” ImuPro100Plus offers you the opportunity to choose from several test variations the one that is the most appropriate for you. You can either directly opt for the extensive ImuPro300 or proceed step by step by first choosing ImuPro100 or ImuPro200 for a start and then, in case of need, extent it for ImuPro200 and ImuPro300, respectively.
A frank statement on the state of the art
The origin of a large number of chronic complaints has not been identified yet. Therefore, known therapies are mainly based on the treatment of the symptoms. It is assumed that type III food allergies play a role in some chronic ailments and thus might offer an interesting and promising therapy approach to the attending therapist within his / her physician sovereignty The role of foods in the development of such inflammatory processes is being discussed for example for skin problems (atopic dermatitis, itching, psoriasis, urticaria) or gastro-intestinal disorders (diarrhoeas, flatulence, constipation, pains, irritable bowel).
These possible interconnections, however, are still being discussed among scientists. Physicians and patients report on impressive outcomes in a large number of case studies. Application studies have systematically documented success stories for more than 300 physicians and more than 3,000 patients as well.
Case studies and applications studies by physicians, however, are not accepted as scientific evidence by orthodox medicine and judiciary, since they are no clinical double-blind studies eliminating the placebo effect. They might still represent an interesting therapy approach. Finally, the attending physician can decide freely within his or her sovereignty whether he or she considers this therapy approach to be a possible treatment option in the individual case on account of the positive case studies and application studies.
As with many innovative treatment methods, patients and physicians have to decide in the individual case whether they are confident in a method and would like to try out a possible individual success given the uncertain scientific situation.
A good therapist will enquire about all possible causes for ailments in a patient discussion before carrying out the ImuPro test. If, after this conversation, the therapist thinks that certain foods cause or affect health problems the ImuPro test can offer important diagnostic support in order to find an answer to this question.
